Eric has a wealth of more than 20 years corporate management experiences especially in corporate strategies formation & implementation; business innovation & transformation; investment ventures feasibility evaluation & execution; business development & market expansion and properties investment & management.

Since April 1, 2008, he served as Executive Director, Business Development & Property Investment at Top Glove Corporation Berhad, (the world largest gloves manufacturer and public listed company listed on the main market of Bursa Malaysia) fully in-charged the Group’s properties investment which consists of 5 office properties, one retail property plus other commercial and residential properties in Malaysia, Australia, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Singapore valued at more than RM 10 billion as well as new business and investment ventures in China, Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan.

In addition, he also sits in the Board of Directors of Top Glove Corporation Berhad and has been appointed as one key member of Top Glove Transformation & Innovation Special Committee headed by Executive Chairman which undertake corporate strategies planning and implementation of new business and investment strategies to transform Top Glove to be top 20 public listed companies in Malaysia by 2020 and Fortune Global 500 companies by 2040.

In relation to the above, he has been involved and assisted in matters related to research & development (R&D), business processes and management practices improvement, innovation & transformation, competitors benchmarking, global market shares expansion, investors relation and dealing with commercial and investment bankers, renown universities in Malaysia and the region for university-industry research collaboration projects, fund managers, venture capitalists and senior government officials at the Federal Government and State Government level.

Eric has also been appointed as Chairman of Management Committee for Top Glove Foundation which spearheaded and executed many Top Glove-University R&D and Commercialization Projects especially with UM, USM, UKM, UTAR, Monash University, Sunway University, Taylors University and Xiamen University plus corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects in term of Top Glove Scholarship by providing financial assistance and donation to poor students and under privileged communities amounting more than RM 5 million since 2008.

Over the years, he has established extensive networks and close working relationship with private sector high net worth industry leaders or entrepreneurs, senior government officials, fund managers, commercial and investment bankers, chamber of commerce & association leaders plus foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Malaysia especially from USA, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Korea, Japan and Asean countries.

He holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from University of Hull, United Kingdom and Bachelor Degree with Honors in Public Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
