University of Essex

Accounting with Economics explores and examines how financial and business decisions are influenced by external forces and how it drives them. By understanding key accounting principles, as well as how the economy functions, fluctuates and impacts organisations, you can make better-informed recommendations that will positively influence business strategy and performance. Completion of this course also gives you an option to gain a professional qualification through its accreditation exemptions from up to nine examination papers with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Pass with an average score of 60% in 6 Subjects

Any equivalent qualifications recognised by MQA (subject to approval)

Note: *The requirement to pass Mathematics and English subjects at SPM can be waived should the qualification contain the Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent or higher achievement.

English Proficiency Requirement

A minimum score of Band 3 in MUET, 5.5 in IELTS or 51 in PTE Academic or its equivalent.
